HQ has special extensions to allow accountants to manage their practice. The extra fields required by accountants are stored in easy to access forms, and use terminology familiar to accountants such as PAYE, Accounts and Business Tax, Payroll, Annual Returns etc.
In order to manage your practices work flow, HQ automates the tracking of the following types of job listed below. You can then instantly get a snapshot of any of your clients and know exactly where you are with respect to accounts, payroll, PAYE, Annual Returns etc. Further, HQ will alert you if you are not up-to-date with any of your tasks, giving you peace of mind and giving your clients confidence.

In order to automate your work flow, HQ will automatically create the following jobs. Click on any of these jobs to see how they can be automated.
The jobs can be accessed in two ways:
- Accessing a clients jobs from the client’s page
- Accessing jobs from the jobs menu.

f you click on the jobs menu, you can view all the jobs of a specific type (for example Accounts and Business Tax)
Alternatively, you can view the current jobs for a single client by viewing the history for that client. To do this, type the first part of the clients name in the search box. When you see the client listed, click on the clients name to view their history page. You should see the list of Previous, Current and Future jobs in the pod on the right.
Alternatively individual jobs can be viewed or added from the accountancy pod on the business or contact history page.
The type of jobs available is configurable in the Administration page.
To see a list of accountancy jobs in the system , click jobs from the menu then select type.
The list of job types is displayed and to view the list of jobs in the system select the job type.
