Each document and template that you create in the document editor has its own printing options which include details of Header, Footer and Page Layout. You can access these from the Document Editor by selecting the Edit -> Print Options menu item.
To change the default print options, you can do this from the HQ under the Tools->Options menu item.
Cloick on the Printing Tab to view the following:
Print Layout
- Printing Orientation:
- Choose between Portrait (height is greater than width) and Landscape (width is greater than height).
- Paper Size:
- Choose between a wide range of standard European and US paper sizes.
- Page Margins:
- Page margins can be set for all edges independently. These figures are in mm and will be in addition to any margin sizes imposed by your printer.
- Shrink to fit:
- Click this option to try to force the document to fit on a single page
- Print details on Emails:
- Click this to add the details of the email to the top of the page when printing an email, the details are To, From Subject etc.
- Test Print Settings:
- Click this button to create a page of ‘Lorem Ipsum’ with the options you have just set.
Print Header
- Header:
- Add whatever formatted text you wish to appear in the header of every page.
- Use Header:
- Check or un-check this options to include or exclude the header.
- Line Below:
- Check this box if you want a horizontal thin line drawn on the bottom boundary of your header.
- Header Height:
- The space in mm reserved for the header. No space is reserved for a header when it is not in use.
Print Footer
- Footer:
- Add whatever formatted text you wish to appear in the footer of every page:
- Use Footer:
- Check or un-check this option to include of exclude the footer.
- Line above:
- Check this box if you want a horizontal thin line drawn on the upper boundary of your footer.
- Footer height:
- The space in mm reserved for the footer. No space is reserved for a footer when it is not in use.
- Page Numbering:
- Page numbers will be automatically appended to the bottom right-hand corner of the page in the format “Page n of m”.
The “Use Footer” option must be selected. No footer height is required as this numbering is placed below any other footer defined above.
